Hi, I'm Charlene
I built MOKO because I got tired of planning my life around a Pilates class. Here's the story behind the reformer you can fold away when you're done.
I discovered reformer Pilates while living in Australia. At first, I'll be honest — I mostly wanted to follow all the girls wearing cool Pilates outfits.
But after my first class, I understood the obsession. The feeling of the workout is unmatched. The control, the burn, and the way your body feels afterward. And of course, the coffee after class.
Pilates was everywhere. Studios on every corner, classes all day. It was simply part of everyday life.
I've always loved movement — morning workouts, discipline, and the belief that you can build almost anything if you put your mind to it.
Then I moved back to France, to a small village — and suddenly Pilates became complicated. Studios were far away. Classes were always full. Practicing Pilates suddenly meant planning my entire week around a schedule.
I had to book a month in advance, and half the time I forgot about the class I'd booked three weeks earlier — and still paid for it anyway.
That's when I realised: not everyone lives in a big city. Not everyone has easy access to Pilates.
That's when MOKO started. I wanted to create a reformer designed for real life — professional performance that still fits into apartments, small spaces, and busy days. A machine you can simply fold away when you're done.
Pilates shouldn't require a booking app or mean building your schedule around a studio. It should just be there, whenever you feel like moving.
That's the whole idea behind MOKO
Everyone should just train when they want
