2. Acceptance of Terms By accessing this website and placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable policies referenced on this website (Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Warranty Policy).
If the customer does not agree with these terms, they should not use the website or place an order.
These Terms and Conditions apply to any purchase made by a consumer (individual acting outside a professional capacity) through our website. Customers who are professionals or businesses purchasing for commercial use are asked to contact us directly at contact@mokoreformers.com.
3. Products MOKO Reformers designs and sells Pilates reformers intended for residential, personal use only.
All products are made to order and personalised to each customer's specifications. No two orders are identical. As a result, the right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU does not apply, in accordance with Article 16(c) of that Directive and Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Product descriptions, dimensions, and specifications displayed on the website are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for complete accuracy, minor variations in materials, finishes, or colours may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our products. Such variations do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for a return or refund.
4. Orders & Contract Formation By placing an order through the website, the customer confirms that they:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- Have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full
A binding contract between MOKO Reformers and the customer is formed at the moment payment or deposit is successfully processed and a written order confirmation is sent to the customer's email address.
MOKO Reformers reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud, payment failure, pricing error, or technical error on the website. In such cases, the customer will be informed promptly and any payment taken will be refunded in full.
5. Pricing All prices are displayed in euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be updated at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Shipping fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is finalised. Customers outside the European Union may be subject to local customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. MOKO Reformers has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
6. Deposit & Payment A deposit is required at the time of ordering to confirm your order and initiate production. The deposit amount will be clearly indicated on the product page and at checkout.
The deposit is non-refundable once production has begun, as it covers materials and production costs engaged specifically for your order.
The remaining balance is due prior to shipment. MOKO Reformers will contact the customer to arrange final payment once the product is ready to ship.
Failure to pay the remaining balance within 14 days of being notified may result in the order being cancelled, with the deposit retained to cover costs already incurred.
7. Production & Delivery All MOKO Reformers products are made to order. Estimated production and delivery timelines are indicated on the website and in your order confirmation, but these are estimates and not contractual guarantees.
MOKO Reformers will inform the customer of any significant delays as soon as they become known. Delays of a reasonable nature (due to material availability, production complexity, or logistics) do not entitle the customer to cancel their order or claim a refund.
Delivery is carried out by third-party carriers. MOKO Reformers is responsible for the product until it is handed over to the carrier. Once handed over, the risk of loss or damage passes to the carrier. In the event of damage during transit, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy.
8. Force Majeure MOKO Reformers shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfil an order caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flooding, extreme weather, strikes, supplier failures, port disruptions, pandemics, or any other event constituting force majeure under French law (Article 1218 of the Civil Code).
In such cases, MOKO Reformers will notify the customer as soon as possible and resume production or delivery as soon as circumstances allow. If the delay exceeds 60 days, the customer may request a cancellation and full refund of any amounts paid.
9. Safe Use & Liability Pilates reformers are fitness equipment that must be used correctly to avoid injury. The customer is solely responsible for:
